Childrens Ministries
Our Childrens Ministries are designed to help form a lifetime faith and develop the spiritual values that are a critical element in the character development of a child. We strive to treat each child with love, while presenting strong, Gospel-centered programs and Biblical curriculum. Contact office@tccsalem.org to find out more.
Children's Church
Children’s Church is a special time for children to learn about God, grow in their faith, and have fun together—all while their parents participate in the worship service.
Children’s Church takes place during our 10AM Sunday morning worship service, at the same time as Nursery. After joining the congregation for the beginning of the service, children will have the opportunity to head to Children’s Church for an age-appropriate lesson and activities.
We use The Biggest Story Curriculum, which helps children see how the stories of the Bible fit together into one big story—God’s plan to rescue and redeem His people through Jesus. Each week, children will hear Bible stories, learn biblical truths, and participate in activities designed to help them understand and apply what they are learning.
Our desire is to create a safe, welcoming environment where children can know God, love His Word, and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Children’s Church is held in the C.E. Building, the building behind the sanctuary. We’d love to have your children join us!
Our check in system insures that teachers can quickly know of any medical concerns and the phone number of their parent or guardian that dropped them off. Though we are quick to get to know each other, each parent receives a sticker with a unique code that is on each of their child's sticker too! Check in stations are available in the church's entryway and in the C.E. Building.
Nursery
Children of all ages are invited to stay in worship during the first part of the service. After the offing, children 5 and under are invited to go to the Nursery in the C. E. Building where experienced volunteers will be excited to see you and your children!
Our nursery utilizes the same check in system as our Children's Church for your peace of mind!
Awana
Awana is community and scripture based kids club for PreK - 6th graders! We meet on Thursday evenings during the school year and we'd love to have you join in the fun. Awana is a perfect place to invite friends - that's how it started! A young girl in our congregation wanted a club where she could invite her friends and they could learn about Jesus together. Speaking of VBS...have you ever been to VBS?
If you have, then you know it is a week packed with fun! This year we had over 60 kids join in the fun and explore the nature of God.
