Sunday Mornings
10:00am Meeting House & Livestream
244 Hartford Rd., Salem, CT
We have a parking lot alongside the Church Meeting House (Sanctuary). Restrooms & Nursery are located in our Christian Education (C.E.) Building, located behind the Meeting House. There is a ramp entrance at the back of the Meeting House.
A little more about us:
TCCS is a historic church that strives to be multi-generational in our approach to worship. Our goal for worship is to have the 8 year old and the 80 year old come and encounter Christ and grow in Christ so that together we may glorify God on the frontlines of our lives (wherever we live, work, or play). As a multi-generational church, we utilize everything from praise music written this year to historic hymns.
For teaching, you can expect energetic, passionate, Christ centered preaching that holds up the Gospel and is marked by just a hint of humor. A member of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference, we are a church that seeks to be faithful to the word of God. We strive for messages that are expository, which means they are well rooted in the Biblical text, and the heart of the passage is the heart of the message.
If you have one, you’re encouraged to bring a Bible in print or on your mobile device. We'd love to offer you a free Bible if you have none. Check out our app, Church Center for more resources.
Got Kids? So do we!
Nearly everyone who attends TCCS has kids, grandkids—or is a kid themselves! We understand what it’s like to have children in church. Sometimes they make noise, wiggle around, or even make a mess. That’s okay! We believe it is vitally important for children to be part of the worshiping community.
In a world where so much seems to be changing, we want our children to know the solid, unchanging foundation of the Christian faith. We want them to grow up knowing that church is a place where they belong.
We get it! Sitting in a pew for an entire church service can be challenging for our littlest ones.
During the school year, we offer Children’s Church for elementary-aged children, and Nursery is available year-round for children ages 5 and under. Both begin about halfway through the service, just before the sermon.
Our children’s check-in system is designed to help keep our youngest worshipers safe and make pick-up easy for parents.
Check-in stations are located in the entryway and at the Nursery.
Children are always welcome to remain in the sanctuary for the entire service!
We have busy bags available for children to use during the service. You’ll find them in the church entryway. We just ask that you return the bags and their contents at the end of the service so they’re ready for the next Sunday.
If your child would like a snack during the service, that’s perfectly fine, too! We simply ask that you stick with dry snacks and water to make cleanup a little easier.
Most importantly, don’t worry if your child makes some noise. We’re glad they’re here!

It's hard not to blend in at TCCS.
When it comes to the regulars, there's not really a predominant style. On an average Sunday you tend to see a lot of jeans and a lot of business casual.
Our advice is simple:
Wear whatever is comfortable to you.
Jeans, shorts, flip flops, boots, wingtips, your call.
